The city of Gijón is preparing to host a stage for the first time Premier Padel. From February 24 to March 2, the Gijón Premier Padel P2 will mark the second stage of the 2025 calendar of the Premier Padel Tour and the first in Spain. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 12:00, starting at €20, with a special rate of €7,50 for the qualifying rounds.
This event, supported by the Gijon City Council through the Municipal Sports Council, highlights the city's commitment to high-level sport and its desire to shine on the international scene. Palacio de Deportes de la Guia-President Adolfo Suárez was chosen to host this major tournament, offering the people of Gijón the opportunity to see the best padel players in the world compete for the first time in their city.
After a 2024 marked by stops in Seville, Malaga, Madrid, Valladolid and Barcelona, Spain confirms its central place in the world of padel. Gijón Premier Padel P2 will open the 2025 Spanish season, followed by other stops in Malaga (July 14–20), Valladolid (June 23–29), Madrid (September 1–7) and Barcelona (December 8–14).

This event places Gijón at the forefront of the world padel scene and breathes new energy into a city whose history is closely linked to high-level sport.
