What a first edition! The first FIP RISE at Angers Tennis Club will remain as the first of the international tournaments of padel - FIP TOUR to be launched in France. A competition which was very successful and which should therefore be repeated next year.

In the ladies' category, Sorel / Invernon, and on the men's side, Bergeron / Scatena, won at ATC at the end of a day full of padel.

First, Geraldine Sorel and Elodie Invernon show once again that it will be necessary to count on them next year. Indeed after this beautiful victory in the final against Vo / Feaugas, the French explained that the team of France was still in the corner of the head.

If Géraldine takes a step back with the selection, we know that she is a competitor. For a first year with Elodie Invernon, « the year has been very positive and it concludes to perfection ».

The Scatena / Bergeron pair wins the first edition of the Angers FIP RISE. 5H30 matches in the day, 2 big games first face the Spanish pair of the table in the semifinal and then face the Parisian pair Tison / Maigret.

It was a great first for Bergeron / Scatena in France. It was a P1000 (tournament approved by the French Tennis Federation), but above all there were points of the World Padel Tour to pick up: 20 points!

« Jérémy struggles to reach the top 100 world and he ends the season at a few points »Explains his partner Johan Bergeron. We understand why these international events of padel are so important to players on the professional circuit.

Tournament Director Olivier Moine makes a perfect copy. We will return in particular on the organization of the tournament which offered simple things and particularly appreciated by the players and public.

More generally, we can only congratulate the city of Angers for its dynamism. A city with 2 beautiful clubs (Angers Padel and ATC) which greatly contribute to the development of our sport.
