La Men's final of the French Interclub Championships N1 offered a gripping scenario. A favorite on paper, Casa Padel Uno had to work to the very end to overcome a Big padel Impressive, came very close to achieving a remarkable feat. Final score: 2-1, at the end of a final marked by tension, plot twists and very high-level matches.
Big Padel strong opening strike
The final begins with a highly anticipated first clash between Bastien Blanqué / Javier Clark Alberti et Luis Hernández Quesada / Maxime JorisRegarding this match, Big Padel is a slight favoriteand the duo was quick to confirm it.
Hernández Quesada, who had a great match, and Joris, impeccable in managing the rallies, both played very solidly and emerged victorious. 7/6 6/3 in 1h27On the other side, Blanqué and Clark Alberti never managed to really establish their game, due to a too much waste : 27 unforced errors, against 17 only for their opponents. Big Padel takes the lead and makes Casa doubt Padel.
Gutiérrez and Zapata on the brink of disaster… then turn everything around
The second match pits Sanyo Gutierrez / Teodoro Zapata à Clément Geens / Dylan GuichardOn paper, Casa Padel is the clear favorite. But on the track, the scenario is quite different.
Geens and Guichard deliver a remarkable first set, won in a tie-break. Guichard made a huge difference, perfectly supported by a very solid Geens. In the second set, Big Padel continues its momentum and break quicklyAt that moment, Big Padel is only left to three games of the title, where the club had failed in the final last year.
But on the other side, experience speaks for itself. Sanyo Gutiérrez, former world number one, and footings, an extremely experienced player on the circuit Premier PadelThey don't panic. They gradually increase the intensity, tighten their game, and manage to unbreakLittle by little, Guichard is feeling the physical strain, after a huge fight the day before in the semi-final.
Casa Padel takes advantage, accelerates, definitively gains the upper hand and concludes after 2h10 of match : 6/7 6/3 6/2A huge relief for Casa Padel, which amounts to 1-1, but not without having narrowly avoided prosecution.
Huete and Leygue seal the deal for the title
Everything therefore hinges on the third match between Mario Huete / Thomas Leygue et Nicolas Rouanet / Thomas Vanbauce. home Padel is the favorite, but Big Padel sells his skin dearly.
The first set is extremely close and is played at tie-breakerWhere Thomas Leygue is clearly gaining momentum, making the difference in key moments. Continuing in this vein, Leygue maintains his pace, well supported by Mario Huete, very effective in the finishing stage.
Despite the strength and commitment of Rouanet and Vanbauce, Casa Padel manages to breaker at 2/2 in the second set and maintained this advantage until the end. Victory 7 / 6 6 / 3, synonym of title of champion of France.

A second title for Casa Padel Unp, Big Padel very close to achieving this feat
Casa Padel thus secures his second French interclub championship title, after that of 2024. Eliminated in the semi-finals in 2025, the Parisians confirm their status this year, but at the cost of an intense struggle.
As for Big padelThe disappointment is real. Like last year, the club lost in the final, failing to lift the trophy. But their run remains remarkable: a semi-final won against All In Padel 69then a final where they will makes Casa's armada waver Padelled by the French number 1 and 2, a former world number one and a former top 40.
Big Padel falls short of the title again, but confirms one thing: the club is more than ever at the top of French padelcapable of competing with the best teams in the country.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
