One month before French National Interclub Championships 1 – 2026A question is already circulating insistently in the French padel community: What is Casa really planning? Padel Uno?
The competition will be held from January 30 to February 1, 2026 at the club Palatium Sport & Lifeand everything indicates that the Parisian team does not intend to present itself there as a mere outsider.
An ambition announced as early as the previous season
Third in the last edition, behind Big Padel Bordeaux et Sète Padel, Home Padel Uno had made no secret of his intentions. At the end of the competition, John LegalHe had clearly hinted at it: the club was going to take a step.
Since then, the signs have multiplied. Already well established among the strongholds of interclub competition, Casa Padel Uno seems to have initiated a strengthening strategy rarely seen at this level.
A very solid foundation already
Even before the latest announcements, Casa Padel Uno had an impressive base. Federico Chingotto, under the colors of Casa Padel brings an obvious international dimension, even if its actual participation in the Troyes interclubs remains highly unlikely and the renewal of its collaboration is not confirmed for 2026.
Around this prestigious name, the project is designed for the long term, with several Spanish-Argentine players already well integrated into the group: Teo Zapata, Mario Huete et Miguel Semmlerall committed to a logic of continuity with Casa Padel.

The game-changing announcement: Sanyo Gutiérrez and Bastien Blanqué
For several weeks, rumors had been circulating about a big move in preparationThis was confirmed via the Casa group's social media channels. Padel :
Sanyo GutiérrezSanyo, an Argentine padel legend, has officially joined the project. A symbolic and strategic arrival. Highly regarded in France and a former leader of the professional circuit, Sanyo brings a rare aura to a national competition.
At the same time, Bastien Blanqué[Name], multiple French champion, continues his adventure with the team. He will be reunited on this occasion Thomas Leygue, his former partner in the French Championships, who should be restored to 100% for these interclub competitions.
A complex sporting equation
The rules are strict: Maximum 8 players per team, with 6 players lined up during a confrontation composed of three matchesIn other words, every choice will count.
At this stage, some names seem almost certain to be present:
Zapata, Huete, Leygue, Blanqué.
Profiles like Miguel Semmler, loyal to the club, or Charles Gortzounian, could also be renewed.
The big question, of course, remains the actual presence of Sanyo Gutiérrez in Troyes. While Fede Chingotto's arrival seems very unlikely, Sanyo's is more credible from a sporting and logistical point of viewand would offer the interclub competitions exceptional exposure. And besides, Casa Padel Uno seems to be announcing it already!
Tough choices… and possible sacrifices
Such a large squad inevitably leads to difficult decisions. The Belgian Laurent Montoisy could pay the price. Another unanswered question: Cyril HanounaCasa licensee PadelWill he be among the eight players selected?
Casa Padel One among the top favorites?
Third last year, Casa Padel Uno now seems equipped to aim much higherOn paper, the team might even appear as one of the main favoritesOr the favorite, of this 2026 edition.
But caution is still advised. Other clubs are also working behind the scenes, negotiating, recruiting, and preparing their own surprises. Interclub competitions have often shown that the balance of power can shift rapidly.
One thing is certain: the French National Interclub Championships 1 – 2026, organized at Palatium Sport & Life of Troyescould offer a very high-level spectacle.
