An ambitious concept, supported by Jean-Thomas Peyrou, competition director and co-founder of the event:
"It was a real gamble. At first, I was afraid the competition wouldn't fill up. We had set the bar very high. As Guillaume says, the goal was not to have a club tournament, but a real international youth tournament."

It’s always difficult to bring young people over from abroad: the costs are significant, and you have to build trust from the very first edition. The competition does cover part of the cost, of course. But thanks to Jean-Thomas’s involvement in the organization and Guillaume’s energy, this tournament immediately took on an exceptional dimension.”
