As announced by Padel Magazine, a little surprise awaits fans: Jessica castello et Alejandra Salazar are ending their collaboration, despite positive results and a game that seemed to improve from tournament to tournament. Their chemistry on the court was evident, making this separation all the more unexpected. Many will regret not seeing this recent pair continue in 2025.
Jessica Castello made the news official on her Instagram account:
“My time with Ale is coming to an end.
I knew I had a big challenge ahead of me, and I faced it with great enthusiasm. These last few months have been very intense, with little time to train together and tournaments every week. I have very good memories and shared moments where we managed to reach an excellent level.
For her part, Alejandra Salazar also spoke, looking back on this adventure marked by many challenges:
“With the Finals tournament, we are bringing this demanding and intense year 2024 to a close.
Before I sign off for a few days, I wanted to thank you, Jessica, for the months we've spent together since we joined forces in September. The circumstances haven't been ideal, and it hasn't been easy to adapt quickly in tournaments. Despite that, I think we've been competitive at many times.
Alongside us, Quique Cataldo, Juan Alday and Maxi Grabiel have been present throughout this difficult but exciting challenge.”
This decision puts an end to a beautiful adventure for this duo, who have shown great things despite their short association. Fans are now waiting to discover the new configurations for 2025. One thing is certain: Jessica castello et Alejandra Salazar will remain essential players on the circuit in the months to come.
