Will the BBs play together again? ? A few small details are of interest, like a FIP Rise together this week and a registration in Madrid P1… Almost four years after their separation, can we expect a comeback of the pair Bastien Blanqué et Johan Bergeron ?

Before the Covid-19 crisis, the Blanqué / Bergeron pair was a staple of French padel. An emblematic pair to the three crowns of champions of France, with a few P1000 and P2000 to their name... Their separation had shaken the world of padel.

Would it therefore be possible to see them again at work? Several things could suggest this. First of all, Bastien Blanqué no longer has a partner. Engaged with Dylan Guichard at the start of the season, the two French people decided to separate last July, to everyone's surprise. Since then, the Toulouse native has only shared the track with Maxime Joris, during the FIP Rise Bandol.

On the other side, we have Johan Bergeron, entered on the circuit with Max Moreau. However, the latter will string together a few tournaments with Julien Seurin, leaving doubt about a possible future association…

And then, last element and not the least: the registration of Johan Bergeron and Bastien Blanqué in the FIP Rise Utrecht, as well as Madrid P1 (although they are still on the waiting list at the moment).

So, can we expect a movement among the French pairs and a new BB association? A case to follow closely… especially since Johan Bergeron is the king of comebacks.

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
