They were the surprises of the tournament, they are its big winners.  Alexandre Joule  et  Nicolas Boutier  won the  P1000 Tennis Padel Baillargues  dominating  Victor Choppe  et  Grégoire Vignat  (TS6) on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

A first  P1000  won together, at the end of a weekend where they took full advantage of the opening of the draw.

 A perfectly controlled finale 

As in their semi-final, Joule and Boutier started the match well.

Making excellent decisions, they quickly broke serve to take control of the first set. From then on, the two men never let up and maintained their lead until they closed out the set.  6/4 .

Opposite,  Victor Choppe  He once again demonstrated his power, scoring several spectacular points to keep his team in the game. But  Grégoire Vignat , in more difficulty, made several unforced errors which prevented TS6 from truly worrying the eventual winners.

 Boutier delights, Joule follows suit 

The duo once again delivered a very complete padel performance.

 Nicolas Boutier  He was one of the standout players in this final, alternating powerful shots, drop shots, and changes of pace to constantly surprise his opponents. A true offensive masterclass that even inspired  Alexandre Joule , who also produced several winning shots with variation in the second set.

The break was quickly made in this second set, before another break on the last service game by Choppe and Vignat to definitively close out the match ( 6/3 ).

Statistics reflect this dominance:  66 points won against 46 ,  38 winning shots against 29 , only  17 unforced errors against 26  and  3 break points converted out of 7 obtained , while their opponents never managed to convert their two opportunities.

It's impossible to finish this tournament without a thought for the  field no. 2 which became the true “ground of misfortune” of the weekend.

After several incidents beforehand, the final also had its share of dramatic events, with  Victor Choppe  and  Alexandre Joule  They were hit in the face by a bullet. Luckily, it was more of a scare than anything serious, but the running gag of the weekend was carried on to the very end!

 A deserved victory 

Teams that have eliminated the top seeds have been eliminated.  Alexandre Joule  et  Nicolas Boutier  conclude an almost perfect weekend by treating themselves to their  first P1000 together .
