It is one of the biggest events of the year for French padel: The FIP Platinum in Lyon is positioned as the third largest official event in the region. It is simply the highest category on the FIP circuit, a category that attracts more and more players in search of precious points, including members of the world's top 20.

New pair, new ambitions

For Juan and Edu, their new partnership will begin soon at the Rotterdam P1, then they will continue with the Milan P1 before arriving in Lyon for this FIP Platinum. They will therefore have two tournaments to get to know each other. For his part, Juan Tello has changed partners a lot this season and was particularly affected by the separation from Martín Di Nenno. As for Edu Alonso, he had remained loyal to Jairo Bautista since the beginning of the season, but the recent results, rather disappointing, have finally put an end to this partnership.

A plateau in line with the tournament

This announced exceptional field of players is not insignificant: the quality of infrastructure and services offered by the Lyon tournament even approaches those of the categories Premier Padel. This way, the best players in the world will not only come to score points, but also to perform in perfect conditions. We know how picky they can be about certain details: the Parc des Sports de Gerland will therefore be an ideal playground for the show.
