Lacoste is clearly accelerating its presence in padel. After several forays into the world of sports, the French brand is now unveiling its first complete collection dedicated to padel , with rackets, shoes, a specific bag and a clothing line.
To develop this technical range, Lacoste has partnered with Tecnifibre , a recognized brand in racket sports.
Two initial rackets: L.MAX and L.SOFT
The core of this arrival in padel lies in two racket models with different profiles: the L.MAX and the L.SOFT .
La L.MAX It is aimed more at regular players looking for power and performance. It notably incorporates technology X Speed designed to improve aerodynamics and speed up the movement, as well as reinforcement X-Top to protect the racket from impacts.
The surface Spin Skin 3D It also works on the effects thanks to a specific texture on the faces.
La L.SOFT For its part, it aims to be more accessible. It is designed to offer greater tolerance, with a larger sweet spot and easier handling. It also retains the X-Top and Spin Skin 3D technologies.
A collection that is not limited to snowshoes
Lacoste doesn't stop at gaming equipment.
The brand completes its entry into padel with the AGLT Ultra shoes , designed for the specific movements of padel, including changes of direction and lateral support.
Un L-Paletero is also part of the collection, with a design intended to transport and protect the equipment.
Finally, the range also includes a complete textile line with technical t-shirts, shorts and socks , in an aesthetic faithful to Lacoste's DNA, notably with a strong presence of its historic green.
An ambitious entry into the world of padel
With this collection, Lacoste is therefore not simply offering a lifestyle line centered around padel.
The brand is clearly seeking to establish itself in the segment of technical equipment , drawing on Tecnifibre's expertise in racquets.
This arrival also confirms a fundamental trend: more and more major international brands are now interested in padel, whether in textiles, equipment or sponsorship.
Available from September 24
The Lacoste padel collection will be available from the September 24 online and in the brand's network of European stores.
With two rackets, shoes, a bag and a complete range of textiles, Lacoste is therefore making a particularly wide entry into the padel market.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
