Victorious in two sets (7/5 6/4) against Franco Stupaczuk et Juan Lebrón, the two world number 1s delivered a solid performance. For Arturo Coello, a native of Valladolid, this title has a special meaning. "I thought about a lot of things during the match, including bullshit..." he confides with a smile, acknowledging that he felt a real emotional liberation when it comes to concluding.

Juan Lebrón, fair play despite the defeat

While the tension was palpable on the court, especially between Lebrón and his coach during the match, the Andalusian player nevertheless had some strong words for Coello after the final. "Juan told me not to listen to those who say that Tapia and I are harming padel," Coello reported. A statement that seems to have touched the young Spaniard, often criticized for the dominance his duo imposes on the circuit.
