After the exceptional victory of  Juan Lebrón  et  Leo Augsburg  face  Alejandro Galán  et  Fede Chingotto  in the semifinals of  Premier Padel Malaga P1 The Argentinian spoke with great sincerity about the difficulties he has faced since joining the ranks of the world's best players.

Only at  21 years Augsburger acknowledges having to manage constant pressure.

"I'm under a lot of pressure at 21. I knew that if I played like I did in the first set, I'd be going home quickly."

 A difficult first set before the turning point 

Like his partner Juan Lebrón, Leo Augsburger had a difficult start to the match.

Dominated  6/2  Galán and Chingotto, the two men, seemed close to another early elimination. But after their coach's speech,  Agustín Gómez Silingo The duo completely changed their attitude and ultimately turned the game around ( 2/6 6/3 7/6 ) at the end of one of the biggest matches of the season.

For Augsburger, this ability to bounce back is also the result of groundwork.

 "I'm doing a huge amount of psychological work." 

The young Argentinian explains that the mental aspect has become essential in his progress.

"I'm doing a tremendous amount of psychological work to cope with all of this at my age."

Aware of the expectations surrounding him since his breakthrough on the circuit, Augsburger says he is working daily to better manage the pressure of big events and continue to progress at the highest level.

 A message for Juan Lebrón 

Once qualification was secured, Augsburger also wanted to congratulate his partner.

He knew how special this final was for  Juan Lebrón , which plays almost at home in Andalusia.

"Thank you, Lobo, for allowing me to experience all of this. I hope that tomorrow we will be able to enjoy it. I wanted Juan to play a final close to home."

 A duo on the rise 

This qualification allows  Lebrón  et  Augsburgers  to reach their  third season finale Above all, it confirms the mental progress of a pair often criticized for their difficulty in staying united in complicated moments.
