Since the change of presidency of the FFT, the subject of license of padel spills a lot of ink. What is it really ? What impact on the development of padel in France ?

It would seem, in the conditional, that the commission in charge of padel to the FFT has decided to set the price of the license Padel at € 15 for adults and € 9 for young people.

If an adult wishes to take a tennis license and a license padel it will then be around 40 €. In the same sense for young people, the dual license will be priced at 26 €.

These figures should be kept as an order of magnitude, because they can still change. The FFT has not made an official statement yet.

What will also have to be looked at is what is offered (or not) by the future license of padel. Indeed, the price will not be the main obstacle to the increase in the number of licensees.

If benefits are offered for licensees, the price will not be a barrier. Conversely, if the license does not provide for anything, at that time, the price may be an obstacle to the development of the padel...
