Superb course for Lino Meireles et son partenaire Xavier Re, Portuguese number 1, who won the FIP Promises Vilamoura in the category U12. First victory in FIP Promises for Lino.

After being stopped in the quarter-finals of the U14, the two young players bounced back perfectly in their age category. In the semi-final, they had to battle against Francisco Maria Oliveira et Antonio Aguilar Cordoba, winning at the end of the suspense 6/4, 6/7, 10/8.

In the final, played against Salvador Condenso (world No. 2) and Guilherme Moreira Jorge (world number 10), Lino and Xavier played a full match, winning 6/3 6/3.

A promising first title which rewards their work in training.
