Le  London Premier Padel P1  The tournament has already delivered its share of surprises. As it marks the final stage before the summer break, several of the circuit's top pairs have been eliminated in their opening matches. Between physical fatigue, mental exhaustion, and the end of a long series of tournaments, the favorites seem to be running out of steam.

 Stupaczuk / Yanguas, the biggest disappointment 

The biggest shock came from the elimination of the  seeded 4 ,  Franco Stupaczuk  et  mike yanguas .

Returning after their withdrawal in Pretoria due to the Argentine's injury, they lost to the qualifiers  Ramiro Pereyra  et  José Solano  ( 6/7 6/4 6/1 ).

Another poor performance for a pair who are struggling to regain the ambitions they displayed at the start of the season and whose future together seems more uncertain than ever.

 Leal and Guerrero come back down to earth 

Just one week after their incredible run at  Pretoria P1 ,  Fran Guerrero  et  Javi leal  also left the tournament in the round of 32.

Finalists in South Africa after successively eliminating  Lebrón / Augsburger  and  Coello / Tapia The two Spaniards were defeated this time by the youngsters  Mariano Gonzalez  et  Curro Cabeza  ( 6/3 4/6 7/5 ).

A real return to earth after a week in which they had undoubtedly played the best padel of their careers.

 Salazar and Osoro swept aside 

In the ladies,  Alejandra Salazar  et  Aranza Osoro  did not confirm their good momentum from Pretoria.

Having reached the semi-finals the previous week, they were largely dominated by  Bea Caldera  et  Carmen Goenaga which established themselves in just  class  on a severe  6 / 1 6 / 1 .

A resounding victory for the Spanish team, who left no chance for the 8th seed.

 Garrido and Bergamini stopped prematurely once again 

Another surprise was the elimination of  Javi Garrido  et  Lucas Bergamini .

Despite a promising start to their match, they were ultimately overturned by  Juan Cruz Belluati  et  Ignatius Piotto  ( 3/6 6/4 6/1 ).

Another disappointment for a pair that has struggled to achieve the expected results for several months.

 Is fatigue starting to take its toll? 

These numerous surprises raise questions.

The calendar Premier Padel is particularly intense since the start of the season. Between travel, changes of surface, long weeks of competition and very high-intensity matches, the bodies are put to the test.

Added to this is a  mental fatigue  which can develop over the months. Players play tournament after tournament without a real break, with constant pressure related to results and rankings.

Le  London P1 The match, played just before the summer break, may come at a time when some leaders are feeling the effects of the game.

 Outsiders who are taking advantage 

While several favorites fall, others seize their chance.

 Pereyra / Solano ,  González / Cabeza ,  Caldera / Goenaga  or,  Belluati / Piotto  took full advantage of this opening to record some of the finest victories of their season.

Further proof that at this level, the slightest lapse in concentration is immediately punished.

It remains to be seen whether this first wave of surprises will continue until the end of the tournament, or whether the last remaining top seeds will manage to restore order before going on holiday.
