Le  London Premier Padel P1  will offer a truly special lineup this Friday.  Arturo Coello , accompanied by Agustín Tapia, will find himself on the other side of the net  Curro Cabeza his partner's brother  Maica Cabeza .

Usually very close off the track, the two men will be rivals this time with a place in the semi-finals at stake.

 Coello, an inspiration for Curro Cabeza 

The relation between  Arturo Coello and the Cabeza family  This isn't a recent development. The world number one has been sharing his life with her for several years.  Maica Cabeza Curro's sister.

For the young Spaniard, Coello is much more than his sister's partner. He represents a kind of  big brother and a true source of inspiration he who climbed the ranks to become one of the leading figures in world padel.

Curro is now forging his own path. Left-handed like Coello, the young player continues his development and had already made a name for himself by winning the  Gijon P2  last season.

In London, he took another step forward.

 Cabeza and González, the sensation of the tournament 

Partnered with the young Paraguayan  Mariano Gonzalez Curro Cabeza has had a remarkable tournament so far.

In the round of 32, the two players caused an upset by eliminating  Fran Guerrero / Javi Leal , who were just finalists in Pretoria P1.

They then confirmed their form in the round of 16 against  Juan Cruz Belluati / Ignacio Piotto , who had defeated Garrido/Bergamini in the previous round. After three hard-fought sets, Cabeza and González emerged victorious.  6/3 3/6 6/4 .

A qualification that also allows Mariano González to become  the first Paraguayan to reach the quarter-finals of a tournament Premier Padel .

 "See you tomorrow, kid" 

On their side,  Coello and Tapia  had to work to eliminate  Álex Arroyo / José Jiménez  in eighth,  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

Once both qualifications were secured, Coello was quick to react to his brother-in-law's performance. On social media, the Spaniard sent him a short message:

 “Great chavalín, nos vemos mañana” 
"Well done, kid, see you tomorrow."

The tone is affectionate. But this Friday, once on the track, family ties will be put aside.

 And what about Maica Cabeza in all of this? 

There is one person for whom this quarter-final will inevitably have an even more special significance:  Maica Cabeza .

On one side, her partner  Arturo Coello , world number 1 and seeking another title with Tapia. On the other side, his brother  Curro who is having one of the best runs of his young career.

So,  Who will Maica support? 

One thing is certain: whatever happens, the Cabeza family will have a representative in the semi-finals of the  London P1 .
