Gemma Triay / Delfi Brea  are the champions of  Madrid Premier Padel P1 In the highly anticipated final between the two best pairs in the world, the number 1s had to turn things around.  Paula Josemaría / Bea González  to impose oneself  6/7(5) 6/3 6/3 .

Another big win for Triay/Brea, who secure their  sixth title of the season  and are widening the gap even further in the race for first place in the world.

Josemaría / González snatch the first set

Triay/Brea, however, started the final better. More organized and consistent, they took advantage of a more disorganized start from their opponents to break serve quickly.

But in the fast conditions of the  Movistar Arena The breaks and re-breaks come thick and fast. Josemaría/González gradually begin to control the game more and regain their offensive efficiency.

The set ultimately went to a tie-break. Once again, Triay/Brea seemed to have done the hard part by taking the lead.  5-2 But Bea and Paula completely turn the tables. They win  five consecutive points  to clinch the tiebreaker 7-5 and take the lead.

The number ones are not panicking

A tough blow for Triay / Brea, but their reaction will be commensurate with their status.

The second set initially remained very balanced. Josemaría/González even found the first break of the set, but the number 1s responded immediately.

It is from this point that the trend reverses.  Triay and Brea increase their intensity, become much more aggressive, and regain their consistency. , while mistakes begin to pile up on the other side.

They gradually take control and equalize by winning the second set.  6/3 .

Triay / Brea finish as bosses

In the third set, the dynamics remained unchanged.

Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea remained focused on their game plan and were no longer unsettled by the bursts of speed from Bea González and Paula Josemaría. They took the lead and this time maintained their control until the end.

Sixth title and 13 finals in 15 tournaments

This victory further confirms the impressive consistency of  Triay / Brea  this season. The pair led by Seba Nerone secures its  sixth title in 2026  and now displays  13 finals played in 15 tournaments .

Most importantly, they beat Josemaría/González for the second time in a row after their success at  Malaga P1 where they had already prevailed after three sets,  7/5 3/6 7/6(3) .

Having struggled in this head-to-head contest for much of the first part of the season, the number 1 teams now seem to have found the solutions.

With this Madrid title, their lead will reach  2,460 points in the Race  starting Monday, just before the  Paris Major .

The day is also historic for  Gemma Triay , which becomes the  first player to reach 200 wins on the circuit Premier Padel .

One week before Roland-Garros, Triay/Brea are therefore sending a new message:  The number 1 pair arrives at the Paris Major with a sixth title already secured and an even stronger lead in the standings. .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
