Le  Madrid P1  didn't wait long before delivering its first surprises. For the restart after the summer break, several pairs have already been caught out, notably with the confirmation of  Javier Collantes / Asier Martínez , but also the eliminations of  Alex Chozas / Juani De Pascual  et  Tolito Aguirre / Pablo Garcia .

Collantes and Martínez confirm their form after their impressive performance at the FIP Bronze Madrid

They are no longer exactly strangers. Invited thanks to a  wild card ,  Javier Collantes and Asier Martínez  have dominated  Antonio Fernández / Mario Del Castillo  in two sets,  7 / 5 7 / 5 , to secure a place in the round of 32.

This performance confirms their incredible momentum. Last week, the two Spaniards had already caused a sensation at the  FIP Bronze Madrid Also benefiting from a wild card, they had gone on to win the title by notably beating  Thomas Leygue / Jesús Moya in the final .

These two results are all the more remarkable given that the Madrid team are  very few active on the international circuit Collantes, for example, having only played two tournaments this season. Coming from the circuit  A1 Padel  and training in Madrid, they were still largely unknown on Premier Padel a few days ago.

This time, the test will take on a whole new dimension. In sixteenth grade,  Collantes / Martínez will reunite with Paquito Navarro / Martín Di Nenno An opportunity to measure their level against one of the best pairs in the draw.

Chozas / De Pascual already stopped

A missed start for the brand new association  Alex Chozas / Juani De Pascual In their first tournament together, the Argentinians were eliminated by  José Luis González / Álvaro Meléndez  at the end of a huge battle:  4/6 6/2 7/6 .

A first setback for a pair who hoped to use Madrid to launch their new adventure.

Aguirre and García were overturned when they had the match in hand.

Disillusionment is also important for  Tolito Aguirre / Pablo Garcia Winners of the first set  6/3  face  José Antonio Diestro / Marc Sintes They had also taken the break in the second set and were only a few games away from victory.

Corn (Mais)  Diestro / Sintes completely turned the game around  to finally secure their qualification 3/6 7/5 6/1. They will face each other in the round of 32  Javi Barahona / Maxi Sánchez Blasco .

Dal Bianco and López bring down Goenaga / Castaño

Another key finding,  Franco Dal Bianco / Facundo López  have dismissed  Enrique Goenaga / Manuel Castaño  in two attached sleeves,  7 / 5 7 / 6 .

The two Argentinians therefore continue their journey and will face another big challenge in the next round against  Jose Jimenez /   Álex Arroyo .
