Le Premier Padel Madrid P1 marks the beginning of the second half of the season, and it comes with a special flavor. After a month of summer break, several important players are returning to the circuit, sometimes after long months of absence.
Lucho Capra, finally back
This is undoubtedly the most significant comeback. Absent for six months due to a meniscus tear , Lucho Capra returns with the desire to make up for lost time. Already winner of the FIP Silver La Palma With Aimar Goñi back in the groove, the left-handed Argentinian now hopes to confirm his status at the highest level in Madrid.
Jon Sanz wants to restart the machine
Victim of a sprained ankle During the warm-up in Malaga, Jon Sanz had to withdraw after only three games and miss Tarragona. Associated with Momo González , he arrives determined to return to the semi-finals, a stage they have only reached once this season (Buenos Aires).
Jairo Bautista resumes with Edu Alonso
Madrid-based Bautista had put his season on hold to treat his pain. After three weeks of work, Baptist returns with Edu Alonso, with the idea of finding the good feelings that marked their start to the season.
Javi Garrido with Belluati
Embarrassed for several months, Javi Garrido had decided to skip Tarragona. This time he returns alongside Juan Cruz Belluati , while waiting for his usual partner Tino Libaak to fully recover from his lower back problems.
Sanyo Gutiérrez, ready for the second half of the season
Like Garrido, Sanyo Gutiérrez had chosen to stop before the summer break. The “Mago” resumes alongside Gonzalo Alfonso, with whom he hopes to find his best level for the rest of the calendar.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
