The first day of the main draw of the  Premier Padel Malaga P1  has already shaken up the hierarchy. Between expected pair eliminations, successes of qualifiers and matches decided by a few points, the round of 32 has delivered several surprises.

The most striking one came from  Coquito Zamora and Pablo Sánchez , fallers of  Pol Hernandez and Guille Collado  in two rounds,  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

Zamora confirms his talent at only 18 years old.

Only at  18 years Coquito Zamora continues to make headlines. Just days after winning the  FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup  With Spain, the young player perfectly negotiated his entry into the main draw alongside Pablo Sánchez.

Against Hernández and Collado, both more experienced on the tour, Zamora and Sánchez proved more solid in the crucial moments. The first set, a hard-fought affair, went to a tiebreak before the underdogs maintained their advantage in the second. Final score: 7-6, 6-4.

A first big performance for Zamora, who confirm their progress and secure a place in the round of 32.

Perino and Domínguez smother Rubini and Sánchez

Another notable result: the victory of  Denis Perino and Facundo Dominguez  face  Juan Ignacio Rubini and Maxi Sánchez ,  6 / 0 7 / 5 .

The first set was completely one-sided. Maxi Sánchez was rarely involved in the rallies, mainly touching the ball on his own service games, while Perino and Domínguez constantly targeted Rubini.

The second set was closer, but the Italian-Argentine pair kept control to close it out in two sets and deliver one of the performances of the day.

Those who qualified are present

The players who came through the qualifiers also caused damage.  Santiago Pineda and Diego Garcia  have eliminated  Javi Ruiz and Xisco Gil ,  7 / 5 6 / 2 , after gradually taking control of the match.

 José Solano and Ramiro Pereyra  also extended their week by dominating  Gonzalo Rubio and Andrés Fernández Lancha ,  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

French side,  Dylan Guichard and Clément Geens  won the duel between qualifiers against  Manuel Aragón and Albert Roglán ,  6 / 4 7 / 6 , with a second-set tie-break won  14-12 .

Chozas and Libaak avoid the trap

For their last tournament together,  Álex Chozas and Tino Libaak  had to work hard in the face of  Marcos Gonzalez and Martin Abud .

After easily winning the first set, they saw their opponents come back before regaining complete control in the deciding set:  6/2 3/6 6/0 .

Same complicated scenario for  Lucho Capra and Luis Hernandez , winners of  Fede Mouriño and Marc Quílez  after more than three hours of gameplay,  6/4 6/7 7/6 .

Several expected pairs have already been eliminated.

The day was also fatal to  Javi Ruiz / Xisco Gil ,  Rubini / Maxi Sánchez ,  Rubio / Fernández Lancha  or,  Hernandez / Collado .
