No major upsets on this second day of the round of 32 of the  Premier Padel Malaga P1 In the men's draw, the top seeds lived up to expectations. In the women's draw, the only real surprise came from the elimination of... Alejandra Salazar and Aranza Osoro , beaten in their first match together.

The quiet heavyweights among men

 Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas  got their tournament off to a perfect start by dominating the qualifiers  José Solano and Ramiro Pereyra ,  6 / 2 6 / 4 .

Same mastery for  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia , winners of  David Gala and Enzo Jensen ,  6 / 3 6 / 2 The world's number ones took control without really leaving any room for doubt.

 Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto  were even more expeditious in the face of  Denis Perino and Facundo Dominguez swept away  6 / 0 6 / 3 .

On their side,  Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno  brought an end to the run of the surprising young pair  Coquito Zamora / Pablo Sánchez , with a clear victory  6 / 2 6 / 2 .

Alonso and Goñi confirm

 Edu Alonso and Aimar Goñi  delivered a solid performance to put on a strong display.  Lucho Capra and Luis Hernandez ,  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

 Tolito Aguirre and Alex Arroyo  They too secured their place in the round of 16, by dominating  Pablo García and Pablo Lijó ,  6 / 3 6 / 3 .

Salazar and Osoro already eliminated

The surprise of the day came from the women's draw.

For their first tournament together,  Alejandra Salazar and Aranza Osoro , seeded 8th, lost to  Bea Caldera and Carmen Goenaga ,  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

The draw was anything but a gift. Caldera and Goenaga form a very dangerous pair, capable of causing damage from the very first rounds. They demonstrated this once again by imposing their rhythm on a new partnership that hasn't yet had time to find its footing.

The other favorites were also present.

For their debut together,  Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo  have dominated  Jana Montes and Marta Barrera ,  6 / 2 6 / 3 .

The recent winners of the Bordeaux P2,  Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen also got their week off to a good start with a success  6 / 2 6 / 3  face  Lucía Sainz and Sofía Saiz .

 Lorena Rufo and Victoria Iglesias  have beaten  Lucía Martínez and Águeda Pérez ,  6 / 3 6 / 3 , While  Nuria Rodriguez and Giulia Dal Pozzo  had to go through three sets to overcome Ara Martínez and Laura Luján ,  6/3 4/6 6/0 .

The hierarchy was therefore generally respected, with the exception of Salazar and Osoro, who were eliminated as soon as they entered the competition in a women's draw that was still very open.
