After nearly a year spent on the other side of the world, Marie Rondot made his return to the French circuit. A strong, significant, almost symbolic return. Finalist of the Bordeaux P2000 alongside his faithful partner and friend Clara Mansart, then author of a very solid round of 16 match at FIP Silver of CaenThe French player was quick to point out that she had never really left. And above all, Marie has returned transformed. In Caen, she spoke at length about... Padel Magazine about his trip, his relationship to paddle, his new approach to the game and his desires for the future. Marie is back!
A very instructive return, from Bordeaux to Caen
For his return to competition, Marie Rondot has experienced two particularly intense weeks. First in Bordeaux, where she reached the final of the P2000 next to Clara Mansart, then in Caen, with an enriching experience during the FIP Silver.
In Bordeaux, the pair arrived with little pressure but a real collective energy. Despite sometimes unfavorable playing conditions, the two players displayed remarkable mental strength. Match after match, their confidence grew and their performances followed one after another, culminating in the final against the Godallier/Touly pair, a final they experienced as both a sporting and personal reward.
With Clara, the connection is obvious.
“Our strength is the chemistry we both have,” says Marie, highlighting this ability to create a positive and combative dynamic on the field.
In Caen, the French player continues her recovery in a different context. FIP Silver It allows him to experience different rhythms, different playing styles, and above all, to gain valuable experience. A formative tournament that fits perfectly into the building of this new chapter in his career.
Australia, a necessary interlude
Although Marie stepped away from padel for almost a year, this choice stemmed from a deep need. The end of her studies, a breakup, personal questions: the time had come to take a step back.
THEAustralia It then becomes obvious. Backpacking, work, encounters, self-discovery… A defining experience, lived far from any routine.
“I needed to reconnect with myself, to see how far I was capable of going on my own.”
During this period, she doesn't touch a racket. A deliberate choice, focused on the body, mobility, and relaxation. More than a break from sports, it's a true inner journey.
A different player on the field
Upon her return, the change is noticeable. Marie appears more patient and much more consistent in her game. An evolution she attributes not to specific technical work, but to what she has built off the field.
The confidence gained during his trip naturally translated into his playing style.
“I now know why I play, and what I want to express on the field.”
A new clarity that is reflected in his choices and his attitude.

Moving forward without forcing it
Today, Marie is gradually returning to work. She is working in the brand new 4Padel Boulogne-BillancourtShe plays again whenever she can, without rigid structures or daily pressure. With Clara MansartThe relationship remains simple, based on trust and shared enjoyment both on and off the track.
Looking ahead, she's not focused on rankings or specific numerical goals. Her priorities lie elsewhere: finding balance, feeling good physically, and moving forward with peace of mind.
The return of Marie Rondot This is not the story of a player in a hurry to make up for lost time, but that of an athlete who has returned more conscious and freer.
A comeback built on desire, pleasure and accuracy.
And sometimes, that's exactly what's needed to go further.
