Ranked eighth in the FIP rankings, the Andalusian has established himself among the best thanks to his talent and consistency. But with this new status comes increasing media exposure… and growing criticism when results don't follow.

Approaching the  London P1 where he returns to competition after his withdrawal in Pretoria with  Franco Stupaczuk The Spaniard addressed this topic in an interview given to  padelvibes_bein .

"When you lose two tournaments, it seems like you've forgotten how to play."

For several weeks, the pair  Yanguas / Stupaczuk  going through a more complicated period.

Their results have fallen short of expectations, and, more importantly, their on-field behavior is a frequent topic of discussion. The visible tension between the two partners during some matches fuels debates on social media.

When asked about these criticisms, Mike Yanguas acknowledged some of the remarks, while calling for a step back.

“You have to take things as they come to you to improve. When you win, you don't get a lot of praise, but when you lose two tournaments, it's like you've forgotten how to play padel. People obviously look at attitude and mentality, and they're right. You shouldn't pay too much attention to it, but it should also be a learning experience. Attitude must be non-negotiable.”

After a good start to the season, the momentum has slowed considerably.

Recent performances have not met expectations, to the point that the pair had to withdraw from the  Pretoria P1  due to physical problems  Franco Stupaczuk .
