The transfer market continues to be active before the  Madrid P1 but the possibilities are starting to seriously diminish for  mike yanguas . After his separation from  Franco Stupaczuk Several partnerships seemed possible. However, with one day remaining before registration closes, most of these avenues appear to have closed.

A situation that could naturally push Yanguas to reform a well-known pairing with  Coki Nieto .

The options are disappearing one after another.

At the time of the separation announcement  Stupaczuk / Yanguas Several names were circulating to accompany the Andalusian.

 Javi leal  could have been a very interesting option. But the Spanish player is indeed registered with Madrid P1.  Fran Guerrero , his current partner.

Same observation for  Aimar Goñi who is currently continuing his project with  Eduardo Alonso The two men are both on the Madrid squad list.

An association with  Juan Tello  could also have made sense, but the Argentinian is also registered with his current partner.  Maxi Maple .

Three possibilities that therefore seem to have already been ruled out for Madrid.

Garrido, the last real alternative?

However, one possibility remains:  Javi Garrido .

The Spaniard is still not registered with  Lucas Bergamini While several rumors have been circulating for some time about a possible end to their association, nothing is official yet, but their absence from the list just one day before registration closes inevitably fuels speculation.

A return of  Yanguas / Garrido  This wouldn't be entirely surprising. The two men have already shared the track and achieved good results together, notably with...  semi-finals and a final .

From a sporting perspective, the project would therefore make sense.

But Coki Nieto seems to be the most logical option

Above all, what remains is  Coki Nieto .

Since  Jon sanz  Nieto, having chosen to join Franco Stupaczuk, also finds himself without a partner. And like Yanguas, he is not currently registered with Madrid P1.

It's hard not to draw parallels between the two situations.

Especially since, from an accounting perspective, reforming  Nieto / Yanguas  could represent the best possible operation. With their respective points in the FIP ranking, the two Spaniards could aspire to the  seed 4 status .

This is a significant advantage: this position would theoretically allow them to avoid the top three pairs before the semi-finals .

A pair that had already found its place in the Top 4

From a sporting perspective, the project would be anything but a default choice.

 Yanguas and Nieto played the 2025 season together  and had established themselves among the most consistent pairs on the circuit. They had made numerous appearances in the semi-finals, even if they had lacked that final hurdle to truly establish themselves regularly in the final and go on to win titles.

Their separation had shown that they each wanted to try something else. A few months later, however, the market might bring them back together.

Security with Nieto or a new gamble with Garrido?

With less than 24 hours until registration closes, the choice seems to be narrowing.

 Yanguas can try a new project , especially with Garrido if the separation with Bergamini is confirmed, even if it means potentially losing an advantageous position in the hierarchy of the seeded players.

Or he can choose the solution that seems most obvious today:  find Coki Nieto reform a pair that has already worked and immediately regain a place among the top four teams in the table.

After the movement  Stupaczuk / Sanz The game of musical chairs could therefore ultimately bring Yanguas and Nieto back to their starting point.

 The answer came very quickly: there is now only one day left before the registration deadline for Madrid P1.
