Morocco will become an essential land of padel global. Not only are clubs emerging, but Morocco will above all offer the first edition of the Intercontinental Club Cup Padel (CIP) from November 15 to 19 in Dakhla on Place Hassan 2, in southern Morocco. AECP (The European Association of Clubs of padel) strikes a big blow by being the conductor of this competition.

Christophe Marciano, Antonio Navarro and Claude Baigts for the AECP were accompanied by Samir Hajije and Ahmed Bennis of the Cercle Avéroes to validate the establishment of the first edition of the Intercontinental Cup of clubs of  padel.

An international competition that will bring together the 5 continents, 16 clubs of padel and more than 200 people including players, brands, 16 journalists… 200 people who will be invited to full board in a prestigious setting.

The semi-finalists of the European Club Cup Padel 2019 will be qualified and invited for the CIP.

Morocco wishes to make its country an important player in padel international and therefore chose the first edition of the Intercontinental Cup to get into the deep end.

A club of padel composed of 5 lots will be built. The Moroccan media have already seized on the subject to make this event a unique competition.

Claude Baights, President of AECP and one of the founding craftsmen of this competition explains to us:

This is an extraordinary competition with a unique global investment in the history of padel. This event will bring together 16 clubs and the 5 continents. 200 people will be present and will be fully supported by the organization.

A competition that will inevitably allow the padel to continue its strong development and also to offer Africa a window to become a locomotive of this sport.

The EFCA, Nord Sud Action and Cercle Avéroes are only at the beginning of this adventure.
