The new FIP ranking was updated this week, and on the French side, the results are mixed: many improvements , But also significant setbacks , particularly among certain managers.
Leygue reignites the momentum, Guichard solid
Among the good news, Thomas Leygue achieves a great deal with +9 places , which allows him to return to green and to regain positive momentum by becoming the number 2 French player.
Same trend for Dylan Guichard , still solid in the French top, which confirms its place as the number 1 Frenchman at 103rd place in the world.
Blanqué and Bergeron fall heavily
Conversely, the bad operation is for Bastien Blanqué et Johan Bergeron who are experiencing a significant drop in the rankings :
- Blanqué loses 19 seats
- Bergeron retreats from 17 seats
This decline is easily explained:
the two French lose the big points accumulated last season , in particular their final at the FIP in Mexico Silver Metepec in Mexico.
Without these points, the penalty in the ranking is immediate.
Movements behind: stability and small variations
Behind them, the hierarchy changes slightly:
- Julien Seurin remains stable
- Timeo Fonteny recoils slightly ( -3 )
- Yoan Boronad maintains
- Nicolas Rouanet loses a place
- Maxime Joris returns to the green ( +2 ) after his return to the circuit
- Philemon Raichman also gains two places
- Thomas Vanbauce back away ( -4 )

In the women's category: Merah on fire, Collombon still in the lead
On the women's side, the French hierarchy remains dominated by Alix Collombon , always French No. 1 and 34th in the world .
Behind them, several players are progressing:
- Léa Godallier wins a place
- Carla Toully continues its rise ( +2 ), thanks to his impressive final at the FIP Bronze Rivesaltes
- Louise Bahurel progresses
- Steffi Merah achieves the performance of the week: +10 places
A logical rise for Merah, rewarded after his A very good semi-final at the FIP Silver Mumbai alongside Julie Razafindranaly.
Some setbacks to note
Not everything is positive:
- Camille Sireix perd 7 seats penalized by the loss of points (FIP Bronze final in Brazil in 2025)
- Lucile Pothier steps back slightly
- While Marie-Amelie Dardaine et Manon Marcarie are grabbing places

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
