Le  Newgiza final table Premier Padel P2  starts today, with a strong French presence:  four French people  will be on the slopes to try and secure a place in the round of 16.

A busy day, with challenges met… but also some opportunities to seize.

Godallier opens the proceedings against a tough test

The day will begin as soon as  9 noon on the center court  with  Léa Godallier , associated with the Italian  Giorgia Marchetti .

Opposite, a  big piece  : the pair  Caldera / Goenaga confident and solid on the circuit.
On paper, the Franco-Italian pair are not the favorites, but Godallier has already shown that he can  raise your level for the big matches .

An upset is possible… provided you deliver a complete performance.

Collombon has a chance to play

A little later, in  third rotation at 9am on the central , it will be the turn of the  French No. 1 Alix Collombon , with his Spanish partner  Jana Montes .

They will face  Arruabarrena / Lobo , in a match  very balanced on paper .
Clearly, there is  a playing card  to try and reach the round of 16.

With a potential clash against... in sight.  World No. 1 Triay / Brea .
But before thinking about what comes next, we'll first have to get through this tricky first round.

 Bergeron/Fonteny face a huge challenge

At the end of the day, it's time for the successful qualifying rounds:  Johan Bergeron / Timéo Fonteny  will make their entrance into the competition.

The match is scheduled for  second 16am rotation on court 1 .

And the draw was not kind: they face the  seeded 8 Juan Tello / Edu Alonso , two players of the very highest world level. On paper, the French are not  not favorites But this type of match is ideal for  gain experience …and why not create a surprise.

After their impressive qualifying performance, they arrive with  trust .

A big day for the French team

With  four Frenchmen on the track This first day of the final draw looks set to be important for French padel.

Between  challenges met  et  opportunities to seize , the objective is clear:
to reach the round of 16 .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
