Le  FIP Silver Narbonne  will host several top-ranked players in the world, but one pair stands out in particular:  Noa Canovas  et  Maria Eulalia Rodriguez Respectively  41th and 38rd in the world The Spanish women will arrive in Aude with the status of  seeded 1  and favorites for the title.

A project launched at the start of the season

Partners since the beginning of 2026, the two players have mainly focused their schedule on the circuit  Premier Padel A choice that has allowed them to establish themselves permanently among the best pairs in the world.

Although they haven't yet managed to get past the quarter-finals on the main circuit, they have multiplied the  round of XNUMX , proof of their consistency against the world elite.

Their season had started perfectly with a victory at the  FIP Silver ESC Padel  in February, immediately confirming the ambitions of their new project.

An injury followed by a convincing comeback

After the South American tour and the  Miami P1 However, Noa Cánovas was hampered by an injury that kept her off the field for several weeks.

The two Spanish women have returned to competition at  Buenos Aires P1 where they reached the round of 32 before gradually gaining momentum.

This comeback quickly resulted in a new title at  FIP Bronze Latina This proved that the pair were regaining their automatic movements and confidence.

A remarkable round of 16 appearance at the Rome Major

The real turning point came during the  Italy Major of Rome Cánovas and Rodríguez had a very good run, reaching the round of 16 by notably defeating Guinart/Virseda, and earning a prize along the way.  210 FIP points  valuable for their ranking.

A performance that confirms their ability to compete with the best pairs in the world.

This week at  Valence P1 Their run ended in the round of 32, but the draw hadn't been kind to them. They faced  Bea Caldera and Carmen Goenaga , a pair capable of beating anyone in a single match.

Undefeated on the FIP circuit in 2026

If there is one statistic that further reinforces their status as favorites in Narbonne, it is their record on the FIP circuit this season.

The Spanish women won the  FIP Silver ESC Padel  then  FIP Bronze Latina , thus remaining undefeated in their appearances on the FIP circuit.

This momentum logically makes them the players to beat this week in Aude.

Objective: the 80 FIP points of the title

With a strong draw and several top-ranked players in the field, the road to the trophy won't be easy. Behind them, the competition will notably include the number 2 seed,  Léa Godallier and Daiara Valenzuela who will also have great ambitions.

But given their current form, their experience on Premier Padel and their recent results,  Noa Cánovas and María Eulalia Rodríguez will arrive in Narbonne with a clear objective: to leave with the trophy and the 80 FIP points promised to the winners.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
