Padel continues to gain ground in Brittany. A new complex,  Eight Padel will open its doors at  first quarter 2027  à  Pléchâtel (Ille-et-Vilaine) , in the heart of the Cape Koad commercial area. Supported by  Miguel Cruz  et  Romaric Fossé This project aims to become a regional benchmark thanks to high-end infrastructure and a concept designed to go far beyond just sports practice.

A long-planned project

The building permit has been filed and the start of construction represents a new step in the realization of a project conceived several years ago by the two partners.

The future complex will extend over  plus 3 m²  and will welcome  eight indoor padel courts The players will play under a  ceiling height of 10 meters , an important asset for offering playing conditions suitable for both recreational practice and competition.

Two entrepreneurs united by a shared passion

The origin of Ocho PadelWe find two cousins ​​by marriage:  Miguel Cruz , entrepreneur in the building and real estate sectors, and  Romaric Fossé , from the restaurant industry and a former footballer for almost twenty-five years.

Both have been playing padel for several years — eight years for Miguel Cruz and five years for Romaric Fossé — and now wish to put their entrepreneurial experience to use for the development of this sport in Brittany.

Their goal is clear: to create a club where the quality of the infrastructure is accompanied by a genuine life experience.

More than a padel club

Eight Padel It will not be limited to the grounds. The founders want to make it a true place for meeting and conviviality.

The complex will include, among other things:

  • eight premium indoor lanes;
  • a friendly clubhouse;
  • a snack bar with food and salad bar;
  • a mezzanine intended for seminars, meetings and private events;
  • an outdoor terrace with a pergola and bar project;
  • courses, workshops and activities for all levels;
  • sanctioned tournaments throughout the year.

In the long term, the leaders also hope to host national, or even international, competitions, subject to the necessary approvals.

Thanks to its location in Pléchâtel, the complex will be easily accessible from  Bain-de-bretagne ,  Guichen ,  Guipry-Messac ,  Bourg-des-Accounts ,  Crevin  and more broadly from the Rennes metropolitan area.

Beyond sport, Miguel Cruz and Romaric Fossé want to make Ocho Padel a place where people come to play games, have lunch, watch a sports broadcast, participate in a tournament, organize a seminar or simply share a moment with friends or family.
