Léa Godallier and Kauli Vaast, the Olympic surfing champion crowned in Tahiti, took part in an exhibition match at AS Phenix in April. This meeting was organized by their common sponsor, the Bank of Tahiti.
Léa and Kauli, accompanied by two other surf ambassadors of the bank, surfers Alean Vaast, Kauli's sister, and Mahimana Braye who is coached by Michel Bourez, legend of Polynesian surfing, showed their talents on the court. This match was set up to celebrate the new partnership between Léa Godallier and the Bank of Tahiti.
This match was Kauli Vaast's first experience on a court of padel and he really loved it! Since then, it's unclear if he's had the opportunity to play again, but his enthusiasm was palpable.
In addition to this meeting, Léa Godallier had the opportunity to carry the torch of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, symbolizing the hope of seeing the padel become an Olympic sport one day! # Brisbane2032
