Grand final at the C5 Stadium in Bastia this Sunday, with a highly anticipated clash between the seeded 1, Adrien Maigret / Benjamin Tison, And the seeded 3, Jérémy Garcia / Yanis MuesserA clash between experience and youth, which lived up to all its promises on the Corsican central court.

A well-controlled finale

The first set was tight and intense, the two teams trading blows. As in their semi-final, Benjamin Tison grew in strength as the games progressed. He made the break at 3/2 by chaining together his favorite moves: roller grilles and window downspouts which only he knows the secret of. Opposite, Jérémy Garcia did not give up, multiplying spectacular defenses, but without managing to reverse the trend. Maigret and Tison won the first set 6/4.

The second set started at the same pace with several close games, notably at 2/2, where TS1 broke again. It was the turning point of the match : Yanis Muesser tries to turn the tide, even dominating his diagonal and obtaining two break points… but just missing them. Behind, Maigret and Tison definitely take the lead. Solid and precise, they concluded this final with the score of 6 / 4 6 / 4.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
