Le  P1000 Hauts de Nîmes  holds its final poster in the men's competition.  Louis Jover / Pedro Diaz Torregrosa , seeded 3rd, will meet  Paul Forichon / Ludovic Cancel , seeded 1, after two close semi-finals and a final four that lived up to expectations.

In the first semi-final,  Jover / Diaz  had to work hard to bring down  Alexandre Toppin / Quentin Ayuso , seeded 5th. Victory after a nail-biting finish:  6/7 7/6 6/4 , After  2:03  of fight.

This match was not easy to manage. The conditions were difficult, with strong winds and a large number of unforced errors on both sides. In total,  52 unforced errors  for Jover/Diaz,  49  For Toppin/Ayuso. Not exactly the cleanest match, but a real mental battle.

The difference was made in the important moments.  Jover / Diaz  have converted  4 break points , against  3  for Toppin/Ayuso. In the third set, Toppin faltered slightly towards the end, allowing Jover and Diaz to pull away and take the lead.  5/1 .

But nothing was simple until the very end. Toppin and Ayuso returned to  5/4 putting a lot of pressure on the 3rd seeds. This time, Jover/Diaz tightened their game at the right moment to close it out.  6/4  and secure their place in the final.

Forichon/Cancel avoid the Fonteny/Taieb trap

In the other semi-final,  Paul Forichon / Ludovic Cancel  They too had to fight. Opposed to  Timéo Fonteny / Tom Taieb The fourth-seeded tournament favorites prevailed.  5/7 6/2 6/4 .

Fonteny and Taieb, who were coming off a victory in  P1000 They posed real problems for the number 1 seeds for a long time. They took the first set and came close to upsetting the favorites. But Forichon/Cancel managed to regain their composure, raise their level in the second set, and then pull away in the third.

A mental victory for the number 1 seed, who therefore logically reaches the final, even if the road was not easy.
