In the European Union, the standard that governs these rules is EN 12193. It establishes the minimum lighting levels for a padel court, distinguishing between indoor and outdoor.
 

 Indoor padel court lighting 

  • For international or national competitions, horizontal lighting must be 750 lux with uniformity E min/E med of 0,7.
  • For local competitions, training, school competitions, or recreational use, horizontal lighting shall be 300 lux with uniformity E min/E med of 0,5.

 Lighting for outdoor padel courts
