The men's quarter-finals of the  Paris Major  delivered a great performance with the victory of  Martín Di Nenno / Paquito Navarro  facing the 4th seed  Franco Stupaczuk / Jon Sanz After more than two hours of fighting, the Spanish-Argentine pair emerged victorious.  4/6 6/1 6/4  and secures another semi-final appearance this season.

Behind them, the other favorites lived up to expectations with the qualifying rounds.  Galan / Chingotto ,  Tapia / Coello  et  Lebrón / Augsburger .

Di Nenno / Navarro overthrow Stupaczuk / Sanz

The start of the match was difficult for  Di Nenno / Navarro Broken in the opening game, they chased the score throughout the first set without managing to recover their deficit.

Stupaczuk/Sanz remain solid and deservedly take the first set.  6/4 .

But the second half takes on a completely different character.

Di Nenno and Paquito quickly took control, imposed a much faster pace, and capitalized on a dip in the opposition's performance. The result: a  6/1  A very clear decision that completely revives the match.

The break at the best time

In the third set, Stupaczuk / Sanz come back stronger and break serve immediately.

But Di Nenno and Navarro don't panic. They quickly catch up and the match becomes much more tense.

À  5/4 Just when everything seemed to be heading towards a tense end to the set, the Spanish-Argentine pair made the difference. On a volley error by  Jon sanz She gets the decisive break and closes out the match  6/4 .

A big victory for Di Nenno / Navarro, who secured their  fourth semi-final together , after London, Malaga and Bordeaux.

This performance is all the more interesting given that they are not among the top four seeds in the tournament.

Stupaczuk/Sanz stopped again before the semi-finals

For  Stupaczuk / Sanz The beginning of the partnership remains complicated.

In their first two tournaments together on Premier PadelThey have still not managed to reach the semi-finals, despite being seeded 4th.

This latest failure in Paris confirms that there are still adjustments to be made for a pair that nevertheless has enormous potential on paper.

Galán / Chingotto strong against Alonso / Goñi

In the other part of the table,  Ale Galán / Fede Chingotto  held their rank against  Edu Alonso / Aimar Goñi .

Victoire  7 / 6 6 / 2  for the number 2 seed, who had to work hard in the first set before taking much more control in the second set.

They will therefore meet again in the semi-finals  Di Nenno / Navarro .

A particularly interesting match between two pairs who know each other well and who arrive with a lot of confidence.

Tapia and Coello are present

World number 1  Agustín Tapia / Arturo Coello  They too have secured their place in the semi-finals.

Facing  Fran Guerrero / Javi Leal They have established themselves  6 / 2 7 / 5 .

After a first set largely controlled, the second set was closer, but Tapia / Coello were able to tighten up their game in the important moments.

Lebrón / Augsburger complete the final four

Finally  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger  imposed themselves  6 / 3 7 / 6  face  Momo González / Lucas Campagnolo .

A victory that allows them to return to the semi-finals after their huge scare in the previous round against Barahona / Maxi Sánchez.

This time, the 3rd seed was more solid and managed to close it out in two sets.

Two huge semi-finals on Philippe-Chatrier

The final four men's matches are now known and promise two very high-level fixtures:

Tapia / Coello vs Lebrón / Augsburger

Galán / Chingotto vs Di Nenno / Navarro

Two very different matches, but with a huge amount of quality and power on the track.

After quarter-finals largely dominated by the favorites, only  the victory of Di Nenno / Navarro against Stupaczuk / Sanz  came to shake up the hierarchy.

The appointment is set for Saturday on the  Philippe-Chatrier .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
