Sacred to  Assumption  next to  Bea González ,  Paula Josemaría  continues to write the history of women's padel. At just 29 years old, the Spaniard has just crossed the symbolic threshold of  50 career titles further confirming his status among the great references of his generation.

And given its current momentum, this figure could climb very quickly.

Josemaría and Bea González in full demonstration

The success achieved at  P2 of Asuncion  above all confirms the impression left in recent weeks: the pair  Josemaría / González  is currently going through its best period of the season.

The players coached by  Claudio Gilardoni  have now followed up  four consecutive titles , a series that also allows them to regain the lead in the  Race 2026 .

This reaction was particularly anticipated after two tournaments without reaching the final, a slight setback that had inevitably fueled discussions surrounding the project. But the two Spanish women responded in the best possible way on the court.

And in the case of Paula Josemaría, this requirement now accompanies each of her appearances.

A symbolic milestone before other objectives

With those  50 trophies Paula Josemaría is now getting closer to several other top players on the current circuit.

His immediate targets include, in particular:

  •  Ari Sánchez  : 54 titles
  •  Gemma Triay  : 54 titles
  •  Alejandra Salazar  : 58 titles

All this while the native of Extremadura has not yet reached her thirties.

This statistic primarily illustrates Josemaría's incredible consistency at the highest level over several seasons. Despite changes in partners, the evolution of the circuit, and ever-increasing competition, the Spaniard remains a consistent presence at major events.

A dynamic that is changing the current hierarchy

Beyond the figure, this new title also sends a strong message to the competition.

Since several weeks,  Bea González  et  Paula Josemaría  seem to have gained a significant psychological advantage over their main rivals, in particular  Gemma Triay  et  Delfi Brea , beaten once again in the final in Asunción.

Their current level of play, combining aggression, court coverage and mastery of key moments, probably makes them the most confident pair on the women's circuit at the moment.

And with Paula Josemaría on track to break new records, the season could still hold several important chapters for this association which is clearly gaining momentum.
