This weekend at Lyon, the public of the All In Country Club attended the Pierre Vincent's big comeback on the padel courts. For the occasion, he was joined by his long-time friend Damien Bayard, with whom he has perfectly found his marks… to the point of lifting the trophy of the P1000.
An experienced pair that makes the difference
Throughout the tournament, Vincent/Bayard imposed their pace and experience. Repositioned to the right for the occasion, Damien Bayard proves that he can perform on both sides of the track. The two men had already been able to test this arrangement during team matches with the Padel Shot Saint-Etienne then Esprit Padel more recently.
In the final, they faced Arthaud Dumoulin et Tom Couturier, who defeated the locals in the semi-final in the morning Jeremy Robert et Tom Basso.
A final turned in favor of Pierre and Damien, victorious in 6 / 3 6 / 4, without ever really shaking.
A promising return for Pierre Vincent
