Le  P1000 EVA Padel Rouen  à  Padel Arena  will have offered a particularly close final between the 2nd seed  Mathieu Gonzalez / Thomas Brechemier  and seed 3  Lucas Pillon / Paul Lefevre .

After a very close match, the Bordeaux team...  Big Padel Academy  are required  7/6 4/6 6/4  after  1h43 game  and win the Normandy title.

 A very close first set 

Lucas Pillon and Paul Lefevre started the match perfectly by breaking serve immediately.

Playing with great aggression, the two Bordeaux players imposed their rhythm and quickly took the lead. But Gonzalez and Brechemier gradually worked their way back into the match and managed to break back midway through the set.

The set was ultimately decided in a tie-break where Pillon and Lefevre proved more solid in the important moments to win.

In the second set, the number 2 seed took advantage of a slight lapse in concentration from Paul Lefevre to completely regain the initiative.

More consistent in the rallies, Gonzalez and Brechemier broke serve at the right moment and logically leveled the match at one set apiece thanks to a victory  6/4 .

 A match decided by details 

The third set remains extremely tense.

The two teams trade blows in a final where everything hinges on very small details.

 A huge tournament for Bordeaux 

The players of the  Big Padel Academy  thus conclude a very nice week in Normandy.

They were able to take full advantage of the fall of the number 1 seed in the round of 16 to completely open up the draw and go on to reach the final… and then the trophy.

For  Paul Lefevre , it's about  first P1000 won in my career .

For  Lucas Pillon This is their first title this season after several strong performances since the beginning of the year.

 Padel Arena is hosting a series of major events. 

This beautiful weekend is the perfect start to what's to come for  Padel Arena Rouen , which will host a huge starting next week  P1500 ladies .

Two weeks of very high level then for the Normandy club, which confirms a little more its place among the strongholds of French padel.
