According to information published by La Presse du DoubsThe city of Pontarlier will open in the fall 2026 a whole new indoor multi-sports complex christened The Multiplex, located in the Gravilliers business park. With more than 4 000 m² Dedicated to racket sports, indoor leisure and corporate activities, this future facility could become one of the most comprehensive sports hubs in eastern France.

The Multiplex will offer a particularly wide range of activities, designed to meet the strong demand for indoor sports:
- 5 padel courts
- 3 badminton courts
- 2 squash courts
- ping-pong tables
- areas dedicated to pickleball
- 4 indoor pétanque courts
- 2 golf simulators
With this diversity, Pontarlier will join the list of French cities that are banking on the next generation multi-sports complexes, suitable for both regular and occasional players. Some qualified coaches will be present for technical support and progression.

Beyond the sports facilities, the Multiplex will offer genuine living spaces to attract a wide audience:
