The two young Frenchmen  Tyrone Potter  et  Juan Segura  confirm their excellent momentum. One week after their victory at  Kaunas in Lithuania they win a  second consecutive title on the FIP Promises U14 circuit , this time at  Turin by dominating a predominantly Italian competition. This is their third consecutive Promises title.

A tournament controlled from start to finish

The route is clear, clean, and constantly increasing in intensity:

  • Eighth finals :  6 / 2 6 / 3
  • Quarterfinal :  7 / 6 6 / 4
  • Semi final :  6 / 1 6 / 2
  • Final:  6 / 1 6 / 1

Not a set conceded, a one-sided final, and an impression of constant control. The two French players raised their level throughout the matches, culminating in a dominant performance.

Tyrone: "In a complicated context, we are happy to have won and secured a 3rd FIP PROMISES title. We remain undefeated, which is good for confidence and builds mental strength."

Juan: "I'm happy to have won this title in Turin with Tyrone against the best Italian players in our category. We played seriously throughout the tournament and we're getting better and better on the piste... Vamos for the future!"

Solid in U14, combative in U16

Tyrone also involved in  U16  with another partner, stops in  quarterfinal But the main point is elsewhere: in his category, he confirms his status and strings together a  second international title in two weeks .

 A very promising dynamic

Faced with  A strong Italian armada at home  (National team players), Pottier and Segura were able to impose their game and dominate the tournament, proof of rapid progress in our two young Frenchmen.

No rounds lost: the two youngsters represent today  one of the finest showcases of French padel among young people .
The momentum has begun, and everything suggests that this will not be the last trophy on the  FIP Promises circuit .

Next stop for Tyrone and Juan is Belgium at the end of the month to continue their unbeaten run and gain even more experience in another very competitive tournament!

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
