Since yesterday, a video has been making the rounds on social networks: that of Rafael Nadal, a professional tennis legend with an exceptional track record with 22 titles of the Grand Chelem et 14 Roland-Garros, seen playing padel.
In his complex of Manacor, within the Rafael Nadal Academy, the Spaniard was filmed playing a padel match against his former coach, Carlos Moyá. One thing is certain: racket in hand and equipped with its Babolat Technical Viper, he displays ease on the track.
Recently retired, the Spanish tennis legend is getting more and more involved in the world of padel. His interest in this sport is not new: already spotted on a padel court several years ago, he has integrated this discipline into his Rafael Nadal Academy. In addition to tennis, the academy now offers a padel section with several courts, both outdoor and indoor, at Manacor, as well as in its international expansions, particularly in Kuwait. Moreover, the academy will host part of the first edition of the FIP Pairs World Cup this summer.
Rafael Nadal and its academy also run a team (Rafael Nadal Academy), who participated in the pre-season tournament of theHexagon Cup in Madrid and was a finalist in the last edition.

A big sports enthusiast and former tennis player, I discovered padel a few years ago without really focusing on it. Then I became addicted to this sport by practicing it and watching the premier padel matches. Looking forward to sharing the 2025 news with you!
