The former partner of left-hander Juan Cruz Belluati, the Argentinian Ramiro Moyano, begins a new adventure in 2025. This time, it is alongside a player still unknown to the general public, but promising: the young Spanish nugget Andres Fernandez Lancha. At only 19 years old, the latter, currently 114rd player in the world, has a rare opportunity to take a step forward by evolving with an experienced partner, supported by a major coach, Severino Lezzi.

Moyano, from La Plata, is looking to get back on track after a mixed year. His goal is clear: to return to the main draws of the stages Premier Padel. But before dreaming of the big stages, the duo will undoubtedly have to go through the box FIP Tour and other secondary competitions to refine their automatisms. After all, it is not enough to have talent: alchemy is built on the fields, point by point.

The choice to pair such a young player with a veteran like Moyano is bold. For the Spanish-Argentine duo, the equation seems simple: “It’s make or break”. The beginnings are likely to be tumultuous, because Fernandez Lancha may have to play on the right side, a new configuration for him. Unless the 1m92 player imposes himself and forces Moyano to try on the right. But the ambition is there, and the two players have decided to play the long-term game.

Ramiro Moyano firmly believes in this young prodigy whom he affectionately nicknames “Lanchita”. But if their adventure seems full of promise, we will have to be a little patient before seeing the fruits of this collaboration at the highest level.

The story is one to follow, because this pair has everything to surprise… or disappoint. After all, the riskiest bets are sometimes the most profitable.
