In 2025, Roland-Garros will host two major sporting events: on the one hand, the legendary  tennis , organized in the spring, and on the other the Alpine Paris Major , which will thrill fans of  paddle  in September. Same place, similar festive atmosphere… but radically different prizes.

More than 56 million euros in tennis

The Roland-Garros tennis tournament remains one of the most prestigious and the figures confirm it:  56,35 million  will be distributed in 2025 (including all categories), a record. Players involved in qualifying are already receiving substantial sums:

  • 1st round (Q1):  € 21 
  • 2nd round (Q2):  € 29 
  • 3nd round (Q3):  € 43 

In the main draw, the progression is even more impressive. A first-round elimination pays off  € 78 , which is more than 1,5 times the winnings of a winner at the Paris Major de padel (€48). The men's and women's singles champions will each pocket  2,55 million .

A little over a million for padel

The  Alpine Paris Major 2025  brings into play a total endowment of  1 029 558 € All players, even those who go through the qualifiers, receive a bonus:

  • 1st round of qualifications:  407 € 
  • 2nd round of qualifications:  € 1 

In the final table, a first round defeat is worth  € 1 , while the winners will receive  €48 each .

While padel remains far behind tennis in terms of prize money, it continues to grow. With over €1 million in prize money, the Alpine Paris Major sits at the top of its circuit, well above the P2 and P25, where a winner earns around €000 and €15 respectively.

The establishment of this tournament at Roland-Garros, in a prestigious and symbolic setting, underlines the discipline's desire to establish itself in the international sporting landscape.
