Sanyo started the year alongside Paquito Navarro, with whom he regularly reached the last square. However, Paquito's departure to join Juan Lebrón forced Sanyo to look for a new partner. Sanyo and Diestro are currently registered only for the Dubai Premier Padel P1, which raises questions: is this a long term project or a temporary association? Sanyo seems close to the end of its career, and the question arises whether this duo is really made to last.

Playing with Right handed, Sanyo returns to the left side.
