Complicated season for Tamara Icardo in 2024, despite a very promising start to the year alongside Alejandra Salazar. Remember, last May in Santiago, Tamara had to withdraw due to leg pain. The verdict is in: an adductor injury. The Spaniard had announced on several occasions her intention to return to the professional circuit, but her body clearly decided otherwise.
And yet, in 2024, she has reached the semi-finals at Riyadh P1 in Saudi Arabia, Qatar Major, Brussels P2, Sevilla P2, and even a final in Puerto Cabello.
The good news is that she announced her return to social networks for next September. Hopefully this injury is just a bad memory.
However, his return likely won't be with his former partner, Alejandra Salazar, who should play with the viking, Aranza Osoro, for the rest of the season, after his time with Veronica Virseda. It's interesting to note that officially, on the FIP website, Tamara is still listed as playing with Salazar...
