There are players who enjoy a tournament. And then there are  Agustín Tapia  with  Malaga .

By winning the  Premier Padel Malaga P1 2026  alongside Arturo Coello The Argentinian achieved a rare feat:  six consecutive years with a title in the Andalusian city , despite changes in partners, circuits and opponents.

 A series that spans eras 

The story begins in  2021 , on the  World Padel Tour , when Tapia was still associated with  Pablo Lima Together, they won the Málaga Open by dominating  Paquito Navarro  et  Martín Di Nenno  finally.

En  2022 Tapia returns with a new partner.  Sanyo Gutiérrez and retains his title against  Franco Stupaczuk / Pablo Lima This victory will remain special as it comes on the day of his  23e anniversary celebrated by all  Martin Carpena , who sings “Happy Birthday” to him at the time of the trophy presentation.

 Coello's arrival changes nothing 

From  2023 A new era begins with  Arturo Coello .

The result, however, remains the same.

The world's number 1 win the  Malaga Open  face  Juan Tello  et  Álex Ruiz That same year, they also won at  Marbella Master confirming their dominance on the Costa del Sol.

Then comes the passage of  World Padel Tour  à  Premier Padel .

Again, nothing changes.

En  2024 Coello and Tapia beat  Gallant  et  Chingotto  in the final of Málaga P1.

En  2025 They repeat their actions against the same opponents.

 2026: A demonstration for the sixth title 

This year, the final turned into a demonstration.

Facing  Juan Lebrón  et  Leo Augsburg The world number ones left no chance for their opponents, winning  6/2 6/2 in just 53 minutes .

A very high-level performance, during which they won almost two-thirds of the points contested, confirming their superiority once again.

This success also represents their  sixth title of the season , the  fifth consecutive , as well as their  27th consecutive final  on the circuit Premier Padel.

 Three partners, two circuits… one constant 

What is most impressive about this series is its longevity.

In six years, Tapia won Málaga with  three different partners  ( Pablo Lima ,  Sanyo Gutiérrez  et  Arturo Coello ).

He won while playing for  World Padel Tour And then  Premier Padel .

In the final, he dominated different generations of pairs:  Paquito Navarro / Martin Di Nenno ,  Franco Stupaczuk / Pablo Lima ,  Juan Tello / Álex Ruiz ,  Alejandro Galán / Federico Chingotto  twice, then  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger  this season.

Partners change. Circuits evolve. Rivals too.

But one constant remains:  Agustín Tapia wins in Málaga .

At this stage, it's difficult to call it just a good run of form. The Argentinian has built a true love affair with the Andalusian city, which has become his playground over the years. And given his current level of play, there's no indication that this incredible romance is about to end.
