Padel is taking on a new dimension in Marseille. The Phocaean city will host a major international tournament for the first time in its history: the FIP Platinum Marseille, a major stage of the world circuit organized by February 2 to 8, 2026 au Marseille Sports Palace.
An unprecedented event for the region
A true showcase for international padel, the FIP Platinum Marseille will bring together the best players in the world for a week of intense competition, spectacle and emotions.
In total, 36 pairs for men and 36 pairs for women will take part in this prestigious event. The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 7 Februarybefore the major finals on Sunday, February 8th.
This first edition represents a turning point for the development of padel in the south of France, offering the PACA region a a "significant" event which will contribute to the promotion of this rapidly growing sport.
An iconic setting for a unique show
Integrated into the official circuit of the International Federation of Padel (FIP)This Platinum tournament constitutes the highest category before the steps Premier Padel.
The level of play promises to be exceptional, with a large prize pool and the presence of many world padel stars.
Le Marseille Sports Palace will be transformed for the occasion into a veritable padel arena, with more than 5000 places and new advanced stands installed specifically for the event.
Accessible from all over France and abroad, the site is located a few minutes from the Saint-Charles TGV station and 30 minutes from Marseille-Provence airport.

An event organized by Pro Sports Events
Behind this major event lies Pro Sports Events, a sports event company founded in 2017 by Julien Nazarian, Marseille entrepreneur with a passion for sports.
The company is organizing this first FIP Platinum Marseille and is already planning other sporting events in the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area.
“We are creating the third French tournament directly. It will be a celebration of padel for players in the region and a discovery for those who don't yet play it,” explains Julien Nazarian, president of Pro Sports Events.
