La R3 Bullpadel Cup makes his return to Stratford Padel Club, in Essex, to launch the 2026 season of the circuit organized by R3 Sport.
The tournament, listed on the calendar of FROM Padel British Tour (Official British Tennis Federation circuit), takes place from February 27 to March 1. Ranked Grade 1This is the highest national level in the United Kingdom.
The event features £25,000 (approximately €29,000) prize money. It constitutes the first stage of the 2026 R3 general classification Bullpadel Cup — the equivalent of an annual ranking that accumulates points obtained across several tournaments in the series. The total prize pool for this ranking amounts to £25,000 (approximately €29,000) spread throughout the season.
Comprehensive and competitive tables
The tournament features men's and women's main draws. 32 pairs, as well as junior categories.
Among the players expected are the British national champions Alex Loughlan et Louie Harrisaccompanied by members of the national team and several international competitors.
This first event of the season reflects the progress of British padel, with an increasingly high level of competition in major national events.
R3 is structuring its workforce for 2026
Alongside the tournament, R3 Sport announces several changes within its team of athletes.
Spanish Alberto Garcia Jimenez, currently 112th in the world according to the FIP rankings (International Federation of Padel), joins the structure. At 23, he will form a pair for the entire 2026 season with the Briton Christian Medina Murphy, class 129th in the world and the highest-ranked British player in the international rankings.
Medina Murphy has also extended his contract with R3 until February 2028. The stated objective is to establish a stable collaboration on the international circuit, with a full season program.
Alberto García Jiménez stated:
"I am happy to join this team. It's an important opportunity and I am determined to contribute to the R3 project."
R3 also officially announces the signing of Benedetto Campione, a young British player considered one of the rising stars. Seeded number 7 at Stratford, he is currently training in Spain and aims for a more regular place on the professional circuit this year.

A long-term oriented project
Sam Kemp, Managing Director of Operations at R3 Sport, explains:
“Stratford is an important stop on the calendar. It opens the 2026 overall standings, and the level seen in both brackets confirms the evolution of British rugby. Christian's contract extension, the arrival of Alberto, and the signing of Benedetto reflect our desire to build competitive partnerships and sustainable pathways.”
