Yesterday was held the 2nd edition of the celebrity tournament organized for the benefit of the association Princess Margot, which works to improve the well-being of sick children.

Casa Padel and Roland-Garros as playing fields

32 participants had an appointment initially at Casa Padel Asnières, before the final stages are relocated to a prestigious setting: Roland Garros.

Lively semi-finals

Four pairs had secured their ticket to the final four:

  • Javier Pastore & Tania Čakarević salary. Thierry Omeyer & Florent Sinama Pongolle
  • Redouane Bougheraba & Adil Rami face Scoot2street & Bastien Blanqué

Unfortunately, the weather hampered the celebrations, preventing the final stages from taking place in full. Only the semi-final between Scoot2street / Blanqué à Bougheraba / Rami was able to be played, and ended with a victory for the duo led by Scoot2street.

The real victory for the association

If the tournament was unable to deliver its sporting verdict, the essential thing was elsewhere: Princess Margot left with a check for €5000, donation offered by the group Casa Padel.

An edition that will continue

The enthusiasm of the participants and the public leaves little doubt: the event will return very soon. Either at Lenglen, just after theAlpine Paris Major, either in one of the clubs Casa Padel.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
