The hierarchy was respected this Sunday at  P1000 Ladies The Hangar .
The tournament's top two seeds secured their place in the final after two generally controlled semi-finals.

Bognard / Hofer  solid and applied

In the first semi-final, the number 1 seed  Grumpy / Pecastaing  falls in front of  Bognard / Hofer .

A clear victory  6 / 3 6 / 2  at the end of a match that was generally controlled from start to finish.

Clergue/Maligo more solid in key moments

In the other semi-final, the number 2 seed  Laura Clergue / Marie Maligo  also secured his qualification for the final by dominating  Séverine Lienard / Laurine Bergaud (TS4)  on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

A more disjointed encounter, marked by numerous unforced errors on both sides.

But the difference was clearly made in the handling of the important points.

Lienard and Bergot, in particular, gave far too much with a total of  35 unforced errors , against only  15  for Clergue and Maligo.

Another revealing statistic:
the second seeds will have obtained  9 break points  to  8 converted , proof of their enormous effectiveness in key moments.

On the other side, Lienard and Bergot will have created more opportunities with  11 break points but will only have converted some  5 , a lack of realism that is costing them dearly.

A final between the two favorites

The final will therefore pit the two main seeds of the tournament against each other:

  •   Bognard / Hofer   vs  Clergue / Maligo (TS2)

A logical match-up between the two most consistent teams of the weekend.

Meet at 14am on Padel MagTV

The final of  P1000 Ladies The Hangar  will follow  from 14am live on Padel MagTV .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
