Léa Godallier is smiling again alongside Laura Luján: heading to the final of the FIP Silver Dão Lafões!

 What if the right formula had finally been found? What if Léa Godallier's year 2025 really began now?  Since the unexpected split from Giorgia Marchetti, the French number 2 has had a complicated start to the season. But alongside  Laura Lujan , she seems to have found her game again… and her smile.

FIP Silver Dão Lafões – Godallier and Luján reach the final after another success

This Saturday,  The Franco-Spanish pair once again put in a great performance  by winning in the semi-final against the tournament's second seed,  Barbara Las Heras and Giorgia Marchetti , on the score of  6 / 3 6 / 4 A victory with the air of revenge for the Tahitian, who was facing her former Italian partner. Emotions were therefore present, as she explained after the match:

“Apparently, the battle of the exes has been won. I don't even have what to tell you. Honestly, it was cool, it was really fun.”

 The balance seems perfect  with her new teammate: “We really manage to find each other, there’s a good balance, she’s super aggressive, she gets to the net very quickly. And me, on the side, I work so that she can get in. And from time to time, I’m the one who does it. There’s a real complementarity.”

Thanks to this success,  Godallier and Luján qualify for the final  of the FIP Silver Dão Lafões. They will face the tournament's first seed,  Jimena Velasco Postiguillo (33) and Noa Cánovas Paredes (33) , favorites and already winners of a FIP Silver 2 weeks ago (The FIP SILVER ANDALUCIA ALCALÁ DE GUADAIRA).

“Tomorrow we have a great final against some girls who are playing well on the FIP Tour, having already won a victory. It's going to be a big fight. There's still one more step to take. For now, we're continuing to dream, to get over tonight as quickly as possible to prepare for tomorrow's match.”
